Such an exciting technique! The pot is fired outside, and then removed from the kiln at 900 C. Swiftly dunked in a bucket of fermenting yeast, flour and water it's then plunged even more swiftly into water. If you leave it too long the mix burns black onto the pot. You can have an attempt at controlling the outcome, but there's a lot left in the laps of the gods. This pot has been sealed with stone sealer, but it's not recommended to put water in it.
